Yesterday the winter 2013 session concluded at Hilldale Elementary School, in the after school enrichment class on chess, taught by me through Enrich and Grow Academy.
Karan Chauhan and Anthony Monetti shared first place in the tournament when their tie-break game ended in stalemate. Trailing by a half point, Seunghyun Lee finished third. Medals were awarded to all three.
In addition, chess books were given to Meghana Peri, Avanthi Krishnan, Cameran Ko, Angeline Agnel, and Adit Terapanthi.
