Fernbrook School Tournament Results

On Monday, the final class in the spring 2013 session took place at Fernbrook Elementary School, in the after school enrichment program on chess, run by Enrich and Grow Academy.

The advanced students were coached by me; the beginners, by Joe Fortunato.

Aziz Kodirov, who is rated USCF 560, won the tournament with a perfect score. Aziz was trailed by Jayson Perez, Sebastian Coronado, and Dylan Locke, in second through fourth places respectively.

Nearly two dozen students received copies of Chess Life for Kids magazine.
