A former president of the U.S. Chess Federation, grandmaster Maxim Dlugy is one of the country’s most distinguished tournament players and coaches. His numerous tournament successes include victories at the World Open, U.S. Open, and the World Junior Chess Championship. He is an expert in opening preparation and has worked with former world champion Anatoly Karpov.
